3. Advertising (Google AdSense)
We display ads through Google AdSense to help cover the costs of running the site.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website and other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this and/or other sites on the internet.
- You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings: https://adssettings.google.com. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at https://www.aboutads.info/choices.

4. Analytics (Google Analytics 4)
With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used, such as which articles are read and how visitors find us. GA4 does not log or store full IP addresses. We use the reports in aggregate to improve the site and do not use GA4 to identify you personally. Analytics data is kept for 2 months. Google Signals and ads personalization are off.
If you decline analytics cookies, GA4 will not load, set cookies, or send cookieless pings. AdSense is not loaded until you accept advertising. You can also install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
6. Merchandise and affiliate links
- Merchandise: Our Products page links to our store on Zazzle, a third-party site. Purchases are handled entirely by Zazzle (or any future merchandise provider) under Zazzle's own privacy policy; we do not receive your payment details.
- Affiliate links: Some links on the site may be affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate partners may use cookies to track that the referral came from us.
Third-party sites have their own privacy practices, which we don't control. Please review their policies.
7. How we use information
To run, secure and improve the site; to show ads that help pay for it; to measure traffic (with consent); to respond to messages; and to operate the Account feature. We share information only with the service providers named in this policy (Microsoft Azure, Google), when required by law, or to protect the site and its users.
8. Data retention
Hosting logs are kept for a limited period for security and troubleshooting. Analytics data is kept per the GA4 retention setting above. Emails are kept as long as needed to respond. Account data is kept while the account is active.
9. Your rights and choices

We may update this policy as the site changes. We will post the new version on this page with an updated "Last updated" date, and, for significant changes, may also show a notice on the site.
